There are many concerns in the community about relying on gas as a way forward economically.

An explanation

Many independent economists question the ability of these projects to actually deliver the economic boost the government are claiming. If you look at the example of the INPEX project there are legitimate concerns about the income flow to the NT or the Federal government from Gas projects.

There is a lot of evidence that shows the Middle Arm project will not deliver economic benefits to the NT.
